Job Description
Mikoishi Studios is currently seeking a full-time VP of Sales / Marketing.
As a member of the executive team, you share the responsibility of providing strategies and vision needed for the company’s success. Your specific focus will be revenue generation, profitability and market share. You will plan, organise, direct, control and provide the sales leadership to achieve the company's short-range and long-range business objectives in the company's traditional product market segments. Achievement of the objectives will include building and achieving the sale pipeline, managing personnel within the department in addition to working in media relations, advertising, staffing, budgeting and all forms of internal and external communications.

Responsibilities
- Develop and supervise a top performing sales and marketing team, including managing marketing initiatives.
- Developing marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies and action plans for identified targets of opportunity and responsible for these plans and strategies, specifically revenue generation, profitability and market share.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding the company’s annual sales plan.
- Conduct and analyze market research to determine risk and marketability of potential products and product features.
- Conduct analysis to define the total market, company market share, competitor market share and available market share by product market.
- Providing the needed data to prepare, update and control forecasts covering projected new-business sales, bookings and proposal activity/costs.
- Creating and directing an aggressive media relations effort to enhance the company's visibility with its customers and investors.
- Assist other departments in achieving company business objectives.
- Measure effectiveness of the sales and marketing department and implement improvements.
- Establishing and maintaining a professional, trained and motivated staff through effective implementation of performance and career development programs.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and excellent written and interpersonal skills.
- High sense of accountability and integrity.
- Organized self starter with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
- A team player whose achievements and leadership style engender respect and credibility from all constituents. Excellent communicator and a people person. International sales background preferred.

Proven Sales Record. Able to take immediate action on improving the sales process, ability to track leads and opportunities, improve close rates and pipeline forecasting.
- Proven ability to embrace both the big picture and the details with strong project and people management skills.
- Has previously held a VP of Sales or Director of Sales position.

A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required for the position; M.B.A. in marketing and management is preferred.
- 8-10 years sales and marketing experience in the interactive entertainment industry.
